I finished this book the day it came out and … I was broken. In shock. All my emotions were SHATTERED. However, I pulled it together enough to create this review. I always wanted to discuss a bit of the controversy that cropped up around Empire of Storms, and why Sarah did what she did (in my opinion). It’s all spoiler free! Either way, I wish that my shock had kept me knocked out until the next book appeared because I don’t know how I’m going to live until the next one!
You’ve just made me even more excited to read this book! I’m still in the middle of re-reading the rest of the series, so it could be a while before I pick it up, but I can’t wait! I don’t think I’m going to be able to handle the wait for the next book though, it’s going to kill me…
I’m so glad! This book makes me love Sarah even more. But … for the sake of your heart, span out the rest of the series if you can. I KNOW I’m not going to be able to handle the waiting and what-ifs while I wait for book 6!
I will do my best! We’ll just have to buy the Throne of Glass colouring book to distract ourselves from the agony! 🙂
I haven’t gotten my hands on that yet, but I’m super pumped about it. Plus the fact that Hulu has officially bought the Throne of Glass TV show and apparently A Court of Thorns and Roses has been optioned for a movie!
Me either – I’m thinking of dropping some hints as my birthday is coming up haha! And ooh I had no idea ACOTAR had been optioned for a movie – that’s exciting! I am SO excited for the Throne of Glass TV show though, I really hope they cast it perfectly. I can’t even picture who I would want to play Celaena – I feel like it will need to be someone relatively unknown.
