September 23rd – The Ice Cube

The Ice Cube

The ice cube slides along the floor
Feeling nothing but its own cold
Moving forward without pause
Stopping only with it hits a wall
Finding itself falling backwards
Leaving pieces of itself behind
Until it disappears into nothing
