Hey guys! Doing some video back posting on the blog because live has been crazy, but not to worry. I haven’t been making a ton of videos in the last year since I’ve posted. This one is about a reading challenge I started that is still ongoing where I try to read at least one biography on every United States President! Why? Watch and find out!
I didn’t fail! I also didn’t succeed but I didn’t fail! I actually read 4 books for booktubeathon, even if all of them weren’t spectacular. I also took some time to finish Name of the Wind, which may have been dumb.
In which I make a TBR for a challenge I love but probably won’t have time to do anything with because work-life balance is not a thing and I’m trying to get back into reading teen fiction which may or may not work.
I’ve been adding a weird hodgepodge of books together recently, and I’ve got enough now to make a new book haul interesting. Enjoy this mash up of history nonfiction and YA!
Wherein Gretchen and Michaela discuss the current trend of booktubers discussing their fears and struggles when it comes to being on youtube.
I thought I could do a little book haul for this week, but it turns out I’ve acquired a looooot more books than I originally thought. Also, at the end there is a little life update for you guys about my most recent crazy life adventures and why I’ve got a new background to my videos. Remember to leave a comment and tell me what to read next!
I am currently reading too many things, and I can’t finish a one. Some of them are harder to finish by myself, like my story time books with Michaela, but some of these are just plain old my fault. Also, Name of the Wind is a REALLY LONG AUDIOBOOK, OKAY?
I’ve been working at a Barnes and Noble since October, and you can bet that all the while I’ve been accumulating books. It finally occurred to me that I had a bunch just hanging around–and the titles were all over the place–so I wanted to share them with you guys! If you’ve read any of these, please do let me know in the comments if you liked them or not!
I’m back with this week’s From the Notebook to discuss the recent change in my reading tastes, and the freak out that is causing in my personal identity. I’ve always been a teen reader, but I haven’t read a teen book since October. WHAT IS HAPPENING?
It’s finally time to get down to this wrap up stuff. 2016 wasn’t that great of a reading year, overall, though I did read 80 books. I felt like a lot of it was meh, but there were 5 that really stood out. They were a super mix of books, really representing the weird and new turns that my reading was taking me. I’m starting to read a lot wider and broader, and consistently stuff I didn’t think I’d ever enjoy. Let’s take a look at my list!
